FAQs
- What is Learn2Serve?
Learn2Serve is the first, fully-integrated online training portal designed to train and certify line-level employees in the restaurant and hospitality industries.
- What types of programs are offered through Learn2Serve?
Currently, Learn2Serve offers courses in food handling, alcohol service, and sexual harassment.
- Do we need special computers or software in our locations to use Learn2Serve?
No special hardware is required. All you need is a computer with internet access and Microsoft Internet Explorer.
- How long is the alcohol service course?
Course length can vary due to state regulations and internet connection speed, but the average is about three hours. However, with Learn2Serve’s unique “bookmark” feature, you can log out of the course at any time, then log back in again later. The course “remembers” where you were and sends you back to that lesson.
- Do my employees get certified after taking the course?
Yes, they do. Unless otherwise mandated by state law, every employee that passes the Learn2Serve test receives an official certification card that is good for three years.
- Do you offer corporate accounts for billing and payment?
Yes we do. We can set up an account that allows your employees free access to the training. We then send you a monthly report and invoice for the training costs.
- What does Learn2Serve cost?
Pricing depends on two factors: the number of employees to be trained and the state you work in. The average price is $25 per employee and there are no hidden trainer fees. This is the only cost to you.
- Can I view a course demo?
Yes, you can. Go to http://hospitalitydemo.360training.com and click to view any course you wish.
- Where are the proctoring locations?
You may utilize any of the three ANSI approved testing sites for Prometric, National Registry, or ServSafe for the food manager certification exam. Food safety needs to be proctored, except in Texas. Students can take the exam “online” but a proctor with a proctor code must be present. The alcohol courses and exams are completely online with the exception of Maryland and Nevada.
- I have locations in a state where training is mandatory, but my corporate office is in a non-mandatory state. What does that mean for my training requirements?
Regardless of where your corporate office is located, all locations within the mandatory states must meet the training requirements.
