I have had the pleasure of working with Goodwin & Associates twice, the first was when I was relocating to South Carolina and the second is my current search. During my relocation I was working with Goodwin & Associates. Goodwin & Associates conducted a very intensive interview in which Goodwin & Associates really took the time to find out my requirements for a position, salary and benefits. Goodwin & Associates provided me all the information on the restaurant, financial's, menus and owners. Goodwin & Associates prepped me very well for the interviews and arranged for all my interviews and travel. In addition, Goodwin & Associates assisted me and my family in locating short term housing, schools, and background on the area.
I have asked Goodwin & Associates to assist me in my current search. Goodwin & Associates once again took the time to clearly define my goals, salary and benefit requirements. Goodwin & Associates could have sent me on numerous interviews but understands that would be a short term fix and will not achieve our goals. Goodwin & Associates has sent me on two outstanding interviews both of which met all my goals. Goodwin & Associates prepped me very well and once again arranged for all the interviews.
The most important aspect of my search has been the feedback by Goodwin & Associates. Both have kept me well informed of the process and provided great feedback after each interview. I have worked with other recruiters in the past and the only conversations I have is when they have an immediate need. Goodwin & Associates has formed a relationship with me and even when they don't have a position Goodwin & Associates would still call just to check in.

I wanted to take a moment to let you know that one of your employees, Goodwin & Associates is a great asset to your company. Back in December, I met with Goodwin & Associates for the first time, and throughout the process Goodwin & Associates went out of his way to not only find me the job that I was looking for, but also to ensure that I was well prepared for my interviews. I know it wasn't easy for him to get me through the doors at some of these restaurants because of my lack of chain restaurant experience but as I told him, "you get me through the door, and I'll handle the rest." There's no way I could have opened these doors on my own and for that reason I am very grateful. On all the interviews I went on, the first thing I would here is how highly Goodwin & Associates spoke of you and that made things a whole lot easier. Make no mistake I know it is his job and Goodwin & Associates only gets paid if I get hired but there was a true sincerity about the way they did there job. We actually joked about it. The day I put my resume up online, I received a call within 15 minutes from EJ Associates. I actually met with them first and Goodwin & Associates contacted me the next day. After meeting with both representatives, I knew I wanted to work with Goodwin & Associates. The irony of the story is to this day, I never heard back from their recruiter even though I know on at least one occasion, Goodwin & Associates crossed paths with restaurants that had already seen my resume but yet I still never heard back from them. Know that if I have friends in the restaurant industry looking to relocate, I will definitely send them to Goodwin and more specifically Goodwin & Associates.

Goodwin & Associates responded quickly to my resume submission. The morning after my submission, I spoke with Daryl Demarco. Goodwin & Associates prepared me for tough interviews, in effect asking the toughest questions I ever faced from any restaurant interviewer. Because of this preparation, I handled my interviews very well, securing multiple job offers. Daryl also took care to protect my salary range requests and each offer met at least the minimum and in some cases exceeded what we wanted. If you are looking for an agency/ recruiter that truly understands the business then go to Goodwin & Associates. He wont waste your time like the other agencies in the city… I have used him twice now and have had great luck each time. Also they are a national company so if your looking to move from NYC they can most likely help you.

Over six months ago our company signed with Goodwin and associates to assist us with recruitment of high caliber managers and directors.
